Staff and researchers from Canterbury Scientific often travel the globe to attend or present at the leading events in biochemistry and healthcare. Attending and supporting conferences also greatly enhances our collaboration efforts. These are some of our upcoming and recent events:
January 2013 Arab Health
Canterbury Scientific is planning to attend Arab Health in Dubai, the largest healthcare exhibition & congress in the Middle East.
November 2012 Medica
Canterbury Scientific will be present at the Medica trade fair in Dusseldorf. This is world’s biggest medical trade fair in which manufacturers of medical device technology, medical products and medical IT demonstrate their operational excellence.
July 2012 American Association for Clinical Chemistry Conference
Canterbury Scientific will be present at the AACC conference in Los Angeles to meet with both established and potential customers.
April 2012 China Medical Equipment Fair
Canterbury Scientific will attend the China Medical Equipment Fair in Shenzhen, the largest exhibition of medical equipment, related products and services in the Asia-Pacific region.
February 2012 Medical Technology Conference
Canterbury Scientific will attend the 3rd Medical Technology Conference entitled Global Ambition in Auckland.
October 2011 Serpins Symposium
Prof Robin Carrell and Dr Aiwu Zhou were among presenters at the 6th International Symposium on the Chemistry and Biology of Serpins held in North Carolina, USA. The Serpins are a group of Serine Protease inhibitors that include α-1-antitrypsin, anti-thrombin III and angiotensinogen.
September 2011 NZ Technology Trade and Investment Forum

Canterbury Scientific’s Dr Neil Pattinson presented at the NZ Technology Trade and Investment Forum in Auckland as one of the TIN 100′s “10 hot emerging growth companies”. The event was part of the Rutherford Innovation Showcase.
July 2011 American Association for Clinical Chemistry Conference
Neil Pattinson and John Veatch (our US consultant) both attended the AACC conference in Atlanta. In addition to meeting with several established customers, a number of new opportunities in emerging markets presented themselves.
