Production Manager/Systems Analyst

Key responsibilities of this full-time position will be the management of the diverse production functions. It will involve analysis of the production processes and plant capacity issues with a view to optimising the manufacturing processes, equipment, material, and human resource requirements. The leadership role would be creating an environment that supports a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should preferably have a Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in a Science/Engineering discipline as well as Six Sigma /LEAN training with Project experience.

Experience in the following would be of advantage:

  • Minimum of 5yrs relevant experience in a Production/Biotech/Medical Device industry.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
  • Project management experience and appropriate software experience/knowledge.
  • Experience in a Production and Processing environment with good working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.

Skills, Knowledge, Competencies and Personal Attributes we are looking for are:

  • Strong Risk and Regulatory Background – Experience in dealing with Regulatory agencies and familiar with a wide range of regulatory standards relating to IVDs, medical devices, laboratory testing and cGMP.
  • Competent Communicator – Good communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills that help develop a good rapport with colleagues. Be a champion of Quality and lead by example.
  • Scientific and Analytical – Strong scientific background which allows for a structured and logical approach to data management and problem solving. Practical with a hands on approach.
  • Continuous Improvement Experience – Ability to apply quality and statistical tools to a Six Sigma Green belt level. Able to meaningfully analyse and summarise key data, enabling management to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong Word/Excel capability.

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to motivate and rally individuals and teams within the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with the cross-functional teams.

  • Train and coach team on project management and LEAN/Six Sigma skills.
